July 7 – Kelly Toys Holdings,
LLC sued Dongguan Yikang
Plush Toys Co., Ltd. and
others for allegedly violation
its trademarks including in
Squishmallow
toys.
On July 7, 2022
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Koeltl
vacated a certificate of
default, and directed the
plaintiff to file an amended
complaint by July 15. Its
motion for summary judgment
was denied as moot.
