SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 6 –
Ricardo Velasquez, a
paraplegic, sued Falcon Travel
Corp at 571 Southern Boulevard
in The Bronx under the
Americans With Disabilities
Act.
The demand is for
$1000 in compensatory damages
- and punitive damages under
the NYC Administrative
Code.
On March 4, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it. The parties'
joint case management plan
says all discovery should be
completed by September 15.
Judge Liman added
a post-discovery conference on
September 22 at 10 am.
