SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 3 – Durell Charles
is charged with being a felon
in possession of firearm, to
wit, a loaded black 9-mm Luger
Caliber, semi-automatic Taurus
Millennium G2 PT-111
Pistol.
On February 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Naomi Reice Buchwald held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
prosecutors said it might be
time to set a trial date.
Judge Buchwald said that is
not in her power, there is a
committee, amid COVID.
She excluded time
under the Speedy Trial Act
until May 31, 2022.
The case is US v.
Charles, 21-cr-546
(Buchwald)
