SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 29 – Efe Opuroru was
accused of violating the
conditions of his release in a
May 28 proceeding before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Alison J. Nathan. Inner
City Press covered
it.
After Probation
told Judge Nathan that Opuroru
had been out of contact, and
had for example refused to
provide photos from what he
had called a medical visit, he
spoke for himself. He said he
had left voicemails, that were
unresponsed to.
Judge
Nathan told him to include the
lawyer(s) in the email chain
in the future. He was told to
report to the 6th floor of 500
Pearl Street.
The case is
US v. Opuroru, 16-cr-148
(Nathan).
