SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 29 – Cecilia Gilbert sued
Dell Technologies for
discriminating against and
ultimately terminating her

is transgender and would be
pursuing gender
transition.
On July
22, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John G. Koeltl
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Gilbert
alleged a pattern of
discrimination at Dell.
Judge Koeltl
inquired then referred the
case to the assigned
magistrate judge, who has set
a (non public) pre-settlement
conference scheduling call for
August 3 at 3:30 pm.
The case is
Gilbert v. Dell Technologies,
Inc., 19-cv-1938
(Koeltl)
