SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 24 – Monique Thacker sued
her employer HSBC for
national origin discrimination
after she raised "serious
regulatory violations."
On September 15,
2022, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Thacher is of
Indian national origin.
Another HSBC official, Pablo
Sanchez, verbally assaulted
her in his office. She
complained that HSBC's head of
insurance is NOT securities
licensed.
Thacher
said a client was on-boarded
by the Private Bank in the US
in 2021 after being exited by
HSBC Mexico in 2016. Where are
the bank
regulators? Judge
Woods set a motion schedule.
The case is
Thacker v. HSBC, 22-cv-7120
(Woods)
