SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 16 – Cody Pepper and
others sued Fluent Inc. and
Reward Zone for unsolicited
telemarketing text
messages.
On August 10, 2022 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendants were trying to
force arbitration.
But Judge Koeltl
ruled that he could not decide
on the record before him. He
set an evidentiary hearing for
October 11 at 10 am.
The case is
Pepper et al v. Fluent, Inc.
et al., 21-cv-6581
(Koeltl)
