SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 1 – Ramon Fontanez, a
blind person, sued Arrow
Reliance Inc. for allegedly
violating the ADA by having an
inaccessible website.
On
September 23, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
There are many
such cases; there's a
precedent in the EDNY that the
ADA does not apply to website.
Here, depositions
are due by January 20, 2023.
The case is
Fontanez v. Arrow Reliance
Inc., 22-cv-5098 (Woods)
