SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 29 – Robert David sued
the NYC Department of
Correction, saying he was
illegal extracted from his
Rikers Island cell and
maced.
On March 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman had scheduled a
proceeding. Inner City Press
sought to covered it.
Robert
David was told that Judge
Liman is presiding over a
trial and that it was taking
time, to reconvene on March 29
at 5 pm, after the trial day.
Inner City
Press called in again on March
29 at 5 pm but this time
plaintiff Robert David was not
present. And so another date
was chosen, April 12 at 33:30
pm. By then the Larry Ray
trial should be over. Earlier
on March 29 it was said
closing arguments will be
Monday April 4.
This case is
David v. Department of
Corrections et al.,
