SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 26 – Robert David sued
the NYC Department of
Correction, saying he was
illegal extracted from his
Rikers Island cell and
maced.
On March 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman had scheduled a
proceeding. Inner City Press
sought to covered it.
Robert
David was told that Judge
Liman is presiding over a
trial and that it was taking
time, to reconvene on March 29
at 5 pm, after the trial date.
On March 25 the
trial, US v. Larry Ray, ended
at 1 pm. Inner City Press went
up to Judge Liman's 15th floor
courtroom and it appeared that
Larry Ray (chrome dome) had a
proceeding inside. But there
is nothing, as of 7 pm, in the
US v. Ray docket.
This case is
David v. Department of
Corrections et al.,
21-cv-10677 (Liman)
