SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 6 -- Marcos Limon
Alvarado is charged with
selling two kilograms of
fentanyl to an undercover
agent; he was presented in
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrates Court on March
5.
Many
arguments for release on bail
were succesful that day, but
most of them involved
defendants signing bonds and
finding one or more
financially responsible
persons to
co-sign.
Marcos Limon
Alvarado, on the other hand,
did not have access even
indirectly to his cell phone.
His Federal Defender said as
much, when she agreed to
detention on consent at 7 pm
on March 5. It was without
prejudice, for when the
contacts in his phone become
available. The case is US v.
Limon Alvarado, 20-mj-2582
(Fox).
