SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 29 –
Josef Volman, a disabled DJ,
sued Crown Alley for violating
the Americans with
Disabilities
Act.
On March
29, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Lewis J. Liman held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Volman's
lawyer said that he had yet to
hear from the defendants.
Judge Liman
said he should file a motion
for default judgment by May
20, or risk his case being
dismissed for failure to
prosecuted.
There would be a
hearing on the motion for
default on June 10.
The case is
Volman v. Crown Alley LLC et
al., 21-cv-10060 (Liman)
