SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 20 – James Jeremy Barbera
was convicted at trial on
February 17, 2022 of
securities fraud and wire
fraud in connection with
Nanobeak Biotech.
On October
18, 2022, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John G. Koeltl
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
Assistant US Attorneys at
trial want to participate in
the sentencing, and so asked
that it be moved up into
November; the defendant did
not consent.
After hearing
from the parties, Judge Koeltl
set the sentencing for
November 21 at 10 am.
The case is US v.
Barbera, 21-cr-154 (Koeltl)
