SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 6 –
Nino Martinenko sued 212
Steakhouse of Midtown
Manhattan for not paying
overtime.
On April 6, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Liman had a jury out, in US v.
Larry Ray which Inner City
Press was also covering, to
verdict. Story here.
But in this noon
FLSA proceeding, Judge Liman
listened and then set the next
proceeding for January 3,
2023.
In fact,
something came up before. On
July 22, Judge Liman held a
discovery conference and Inner
City Press covered it. Judge
Liman ruled that the plaintiff
may move for sanctions after
August 5, and for attorney's
fees.
The case is
Martinenko v. 212 Steakhouse
Inc. et al., 22-cv-518 (Liman)
