SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 9 – Maria Castillo-Gomez
was arrested in the Bronx with
a multi-colored backpack full
of drug
cash.
On March 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Naomi Reice Buchwald held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Castillo-Gomez,
speaking in Spanish, admitted
she carried the money.
Did you know it
was the proceeds of crime? She
did. Sentencing was set for
July 5 at 11 am.
The case is US v.
Castillo-Gomez, 21-cr-671
(Buchman)
