SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 5 – Jose Rivera
sued the Municipal Credit
Union and three credit
reporting agencies in New York
State court. The case was
removed to Federal court.
On March 8,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The parties
said they are close to
settlement, very close.
They mentioned
figures. Judge Netburn said
she would hold off, then,
filing the case management
plan.
