SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 13 –
Vetthya Alcius bit a U.S.
Marshal.
On May 13, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Kimba M. Wood held her
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
Alcius' lawyer
explained the biting as
triggered by her clients
belongs being thrown out in a
shelter in The Bronx and
wrote, "In Vetthya's work of
Instagram Facebook and Twitter
appearance was paramount."
Also, the Marshal
had a jacket on.
Judge Wood
patiently waited for Alcius to
speak, then sentenced her to
nine months, two more than the
seven months she has already
served. She wished her well.
The case is US v. Alcius,
20-cr-640 (Wood)
