SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 21 – The New York
Women's Foundation has been
sued for discrimination on the
basis of race and pregnancy.
Now, discovery
disputes.
On April 21, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendants, including three
individuals, complained that
the plaintiff has not turned
over audio recordings she has.
The response was
that's not required at this
time. Judge Liman urged that
they be produced now, since
they will have to be produced
later.
The
plaintiff's lawyer said some
of the audio files are held by
others.
The case is
Lors-Rousseau v. The New York
Women's Foundation, et al.,
21-cv-9181 (Liman)
