SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 8 –
Back on November 20, 2018,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Ronnie Abrams had a
Violation of Supervised
Release (VOSR) proceeding with
Jose Lazala, and wished him
and his Federal Defender Happy
Thanksgiving.
On June 8, 2020
Judge Abrams held another VOSR
proceeding with Lazala, this
one by phone amid COVID. Inner
City Press covered it.
One of the new
specification, characterized
as disorderly conduct,
involved 45 glassine envelopes
of heroin. Lazala pleaded not
guilty.
Judge Abrams said
she will not just keep
postponing things - it is set
for July 10.
The case is US v.
Lazala, 12-cr-00841
(Abrams).
