SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 9 – Darrel Harris is
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm.
He was charged
after DNA taken from a cup he
touched while being
interviewed by police was
matched to a gun found in a
search of where he was in the
Throggs Neck Houses in the The
Bronx.
On November
9 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Vernon S. Broderick held
what was billed as a change of
plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
But the
change of plea did not
happened, at least not now.
Judge Broderick set a second
pleading guilty date for
January 25, then in the
alternative a trial date of
March 15.
The case is US v.
Harris, 19-cr-300 (Broderick)
