SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 6 – Marcos Limon Alvarado
was charged on March 5, 2020
with transporting 2.16 kilos
of fentalyl.
On July 6, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E. Caproni held
an arraignment. Inner City
Press covered it.
The drugs
were to be transfered at a
truck stop in New Jersey, from
a turquoise Saturn SUV. Limon
Alvarado met with "CS-1 who
has been providing information
since approximately 2013 "in
exchange for financial
compensation and immigration
benefits."
Judge
Caproni set the next court
date for September 9, saying
she hopes it will be in her
courtroom. If there is no
disposition by then, she said,
she will set a motion schedule
and trial date at that time.
