SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 10 – McKesson Corporation
was sued on Columbus Day for
not paying its New York State
manual laborers weekly, as
required by NYLL Article 6,
Section 191.
The suit is for
over $5 million and was found
on October 10 in the docket of
the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York, by Inner City Press
which covers SDNY every
day.
McKesson
has shown up in other opoid
crisis litigation.
But this is filed
under the Class Action
Fairness Act, by lead
plaintiff Amber Zachary who
worked in McKesson's
Montgomery, NY distribution
center. McKesson is
headquartered in Irving,
Texas.
