SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 7 – The Estate of Jorgen
Lohnn sued IBM after he
committed suicide after being
laid off by the company.
On June 6, 2022 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The parties
said they have largely agreed
on a settlement. But IBM wants
the estate resolved so it can
know that no other heir will
be able to step forward with a
claim. The estate said it
envisioned wrapping this up by
July 1.
Judge
Liman inquired then agreed to
stay the case until July 1,
when a status report is due.
The case is
Lohnn v. International
Business Machines Corp.,
21-cv-6379 (Liman)
