SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 11 –
Milton Williams, a blind
person, has sued Salem Five
Bancorp for having an
inaccessible
website.
On June 10, 2022 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The case varies
from others in that it might
also make out a fair lending
and even fair housing claim.
The parties say discovery will
run though October 7.
The case is
Williams v. Salem Five
Bancorp, 22-cv-2340
(Liman)
