June 19 – Patricia
Layne-Williams sued Atlantic
Recovery Solutions LLC for
violating the Fair Credit
Reporting Act.
On June
16, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J. Liman
held a default hearing. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Liman
mulled the matter, then gave
the defendant another shot, on
July 11 at 3:30 pm.
He told the
plaintiff's lawyer he can
amend the complaint or
supplement the motion for
default judgment by July 1.
