SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 13 – Grunberg 77 LLC
rented the ground floor of 66
West 77th Street to B.R. Guest
Parent Holdings, LLC.
Litigation
ensued.
On October
13 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein
held a public proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
The parties
announced that they had
settled the case, and stated
the terms: $550,000, with a
first wire of $100,000 by
October 31, then $50,000 on
the first of the months
December 2020 to August
2021.
Then they
asked that all these be
sealed.
It had
already been said in an open
proceeding - for which, when
asked for its name, "Inner
City Press" was said - and
Judge Hellerstein to his
credit said it could no longer
be sealed.
The lawyers
pushed back, asking to restate
the settlement without the
numbers while acknowledging
that the bell had already been
rung. It had.
The case is
Grunberg 77 LLC v. B.R. Guest
Parent Holdings, LLC,
17-cv-5627 (Hellerstein)
