SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 20 – Lawyer Amy Miller
has sued the firm of Levi
& Korsinsky and its name
partners for discrimination on
the basis of sex, familial
status and caregiver
status.
On September 20 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Loretta A. Preska held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Miller's
complaint quotes Eduard
Korsinsky saying he felt
during salary there was a
"third person in the room" -
plaintiff's husband.
The parties
tried a mediation in May
before Shira Forman, Esq. but
it was unsuccesful. So, the
case is on.
It is Miller v.
Levi & Korsinsky, LLP et
al., 20-cv-1390 (Preska)
