SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 29 – Tropic Technologies
sued Stephen Anderson and
Vendr, Inc. for stealing trade
secrets and sought a temporary
restraining order.
On July
22, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J.
Liman held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Liman
granted the TRO, and later on
July 26 set a preliminary
injunction hearing for August
4 at 9:30 am.
He also directed
the court reporter to conform
the transcript to replace the
statement "Anderson also has
established a risk of
irreparable harm" with "Tropic
has also established a risk of
irreparable harm."
Many judge read
their decision into the record
orally; sometimes this
happens.
This case is
Tropic Technologies, Inc. v.
Vendr, Inc. et al., 22-cv-6043
(Liman)
