SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 2 – Huer Huang and
others sued Joe's Shanghai for
not paying overtime. It became
a class action.
On August
1, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J.
Liman held a fairness hearing.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge Liman
inquired then found the
attorneys' fees and settlement
fair, under the Wolinsky
factors and according to
Cheeks.
He issued a
30 day order.
The case is Huang
et al. v. Shanghai City Corp.
et al., 19-cv-7702
(Liman)
