July 10 – Past 6 pm on Friday
July 10 a proceeding was held
by U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah
Netburn. Inner City Press
covered and live tweeted it.
A defendant in
custody was named - "Lopez" -
with an "S2" indictment.
But it had
not been unsealed. The initial
indictment named another
defendant, Emiliano Bomba, in
money laundering and narcotics
charges.
Judge Netburn
initially told Lopez he was
charged with both crimes, then
only the
narcotics.
Lopez was
said to be detained on
consent.
Then
later, without explanation,
this was filed: Minute Entry
