SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 10 – Constellation
Newenergy sued Om Vegetable
for $728,000 citing a breach
of a settlement
agreement.
On August
8, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J. Liman
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Om Vegetable
operates a grocery store in
Hicksville, New York. It got
energy efficiency equipment
but didn't pay for it, nor
under a settlement agreement.
And on August 8, it did not
show up.
Judge
Liman sent on the record and
listened on the plaintiff's
motion for default judgment;
he took the motion papers
under advisement.
The case is
Constellation Newenergy, Inc.
v. Om Vegetable, Inc.,
22-cv-3766 (Liman)
