SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 31 – Clarence Grandy was
charged as part of a narcotics
conspiracy and has spent 24
months in
detention.
On
January 29, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Andrew L. Carter held a
sentencing. Inner City Press
covered it.
The guidelines
were for 70 to 87 months; it
is a multi-defendant case.
Judge Carter
agreed to time served - 24
months - and expressed concern
that someone come and pick up
Grandy, with PPE. He said this
awaited him outside 500 Pearl
Street.
The case is US v.
