SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 22, Feb 10 – James
Wagley and others sued JP
Morgan Chase Bank for
self-dealing.
On October 22 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Paul G. Gardephe held a
proceeding.
Inner City
Press covered it. Wagley's
counsel said, "one of the
plaintiffs, Mary Frances
Wagley, has recently turned 93
years old, and I understand is
not doing well, as are many
people of her age,
particularly in this
environment. We are not moving
in this hearing, so we just
wanted to raise the
possibility for everyone to
consider that her situation
may merit a relatively early
deposition, and possibly for
that deposition to serve as a
trial deposition to preserve
for testimony for both
sides."
The case is
Wagley et al v. JPMorgan Chase
Bank, N.A., 18-cv-08668
(Gardephe)
