SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 5 – CCB and RB, now 20 and
21 years old, say there were
abused while in foster care in
New York City. They have sued,
anonymously.
On January 5 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Robert W.
Lehrburger held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
CCB and RB were
removed involuntarily from
their birth parents on
December 11, 2006, in The
Bronx.
They were placed
in a foster home at 316
Hancock Avenue in Brooklyn,
where they suffered sexual and
other abuse.
St. Vincent
Services and the other
co-defendants did nothing.
Eventually they faced
eviction.
Now
deposition are due by May 30.
The case is CCB
et al v. Rosenthal et al.,
20-cv-6794 (Berman /
Lehrburger)
