SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 19 – Tariq Williams
sued Samek Trucking for an
accident on the Cross Bronx
Expressway near the Yankee
Stadium exit on February 20,
2020. Vehicle 1 struck Vehicle
2 in the rear, and negligence
is alleged.
On August 15,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Lewis J. Liman held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman
ruled that all fact discovery
should end by February 15,
2023, and any motions for
summary judgment are sued by
May 19, 2023.
The case is
Williams v. Samek Trucking et
al., 21-cv-8725 (Liman)
