SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 29 – Select Harvest USA
LLC sued Indian Overseas Bank
for $4 million unpaid for
almonds sold.
On August 29,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Lewis J.
Liman held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Indian
Overseas Bank has not shown
up, even though its New York
branch manager has been spoken
to.
Judge Liman
asked for a presentation about
the basis for default, then
said he intends to issue a
default order in a week or so,
and that plaintiff should tell
his contact at the defendant.
It was said this will be done.
The case is
Select Harvest USA LLC v.
Indian Overseas Bank,
22-cv-3931 (Liman)
