SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 22 – Gerard
Vickers is charged with
brandishing and discharging a
firearm in connection with
selling crack.
On July 22 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Barbara Moses
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered
it.
The complaint has
a photograph, and describes
the gun shot(s) outside a
building on 183rd Street and
Walton Avenue in The Bronx.
It recounts
Vickers essentially confessing
to brandishing but not firing
the gun, after getting Miranda
warnings. There is a Witness-1
who says Vickers shot the
gun.
He was detained
on consent. The case is US v.
Vickers, 20-mj-7557 (Moses)
