Sept 24 – Luis Jaime sued NYC
Corrections Office Cannon,
citing "excessive force, knee
on my neck stopping me from
breathing, body cameras not
on."

September 12, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Liman
extended the deadline for
summary judgment motions to
October 14. Then on September
13, he referred the case for
settlement to Magistrate Judge
Sarah Netburn.
On
September 22, Judge Netburn
scheduled a settlement
conference for November 21 at
10 am.
The case is Jaime
v. Cannon et al., 20-cv-10098
