SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 1 – Eric and Alex Ulloa
are changed with distributing
cocaine from Queens to the
Bronx and Inwood in Upper
Manhattan.
On July 1 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Richard M. Berman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Previously, Judge
Berman held a Curcio hearing
concerning an alleged conflict
of interest by Eric Ulloa's
attorney Patrick Brackley.
Eric Ulloa waived the
conflict.
Back in
April James Kilduff filled in
for Lance Lazzaro representing
Alex Ulloa.
Then, AUSA Nessim
said "Eric Ulloa has attemped
to proffer with the
government... Ultimately we
thought that Mr. Ulloa was not
being totally truthful with
the government and we ceased
those proffers."
On July 1,
Judge Berman ruled that
"guilty pleas, if any, are
referred to the Magistrate
Judge, next conference is
scheduled for September 9."
The case is US v.
Ulloa, 19-cr-707 (Berman).
