SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 9 – Jason Jesus Rivera was
charged with conspiracy to
distribute 40 grams and more
of fentanyl and heroin.
On
November 9 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Chief Judge Colleen
McMahon held a change of plea
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
AUSA
Thomas John Wright said that
the Pimintel letter his Office
issued was before they knew
Rivera would plea guilty, so
three points would come off,
for acceptance of
responsibility.
He wanted to make
sure Rivera allocuted to 40
grams or more. Judge McMahon
accepted the plea and set
sentencing for February 25.
The case is US v.
Rivera, 20-cr-96 (McMahon)
