SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 31 –
Robert Lurch sued the City of
New York for having been
ordered out of a bathroom in
the Kimpton Muse Hotel and
chased, with tasers, out of
the
hotel.
On March 31, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press called in and
covered it.
Lurch, however, did not show
up.
The City's
attorney asked about the Press
being on the call and when
explained, said OK. It has to
be.
The complaint is
worth reading.
The case is
Lurch, Jr. v. The City of New
York, et al., 19-cv-11253
(Nathan / Parker)
