SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 3 – It was back in
2011 that Benjamin Ashmore
sued CGI Group under the
Sarbanes Oxley Act, as a
whistleblower.
On August 3 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Analisa Torres held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Now after
nearly ten years, the case is
being put down for trial - in
May 2021. Even this was called
unrealistic.
Counsel
asked, will there be masks?
Judge
Torres described the list for
court rooms and said, let's
see. Vamos a ver.
The case is
Ashmore v. CGI Inc et al.,
11-cv-8611 (Torres)
