SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 6 – Dr. Mark
Sinclair sued the Institute
for Family Health for
discrimination, saying he had
been sexually harassed by Dr.
Joseph Lurio.
On October
6, 2022, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Lewis J. Liman
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
defendant, with locations in
Harlem, on 17th Street and the
Amsterdam Family Health Center
where Sinclair worked, said it
wants to move for summary
judgment.
Talk
turned to what it would take
to settle, and a number was
floated.
The defendant
said Sinclair was
"wishy-washy" in earlier
discussions. But a referral
has been made to Magistrate
Judge Cott for more settlement
talks.
