SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 15 – A man
charged with trading a JUUL
vaping machine for sexual
favors from an underage boy in
New Canaan, Connecticut was
arraigned and pled not guilty
on September 15 before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
White Plains-based Magistrate
Judge Paul E. Davison. Inner
City Press covered it.
During the
proceeding defendant Leland
Robinson spoke for himself,
saying that the indictment is
not sufficient and asking why
there were no arguments
allowed on that.
Magistrate
Judge Davison explained that
once Robinson entered his not
guilty plea, motions could be
made to the assigned District
Judge Kenneth M. Karas.
He then advised
Robinson's lawyer to speak
with him and explained how
this works.
The case is US v.
Robinson, 20-cr-448 (Karas /
Davison)
