SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 21 – Jose Coste is accused
of fraudulently obtaining
money from the Emergency
Witness Assistance
Program.
On November 24
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Laura Taylor Swain held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
As his CJA
counsel Coste has gotten Akin
Gump, whose representative
said there are discussions
toward a disposition.
Judge Swain set
the next conference for
January 21 - and Inner City
Press covered this as well.
Coste's
lawyer said it has been hard
to communicate, but that she
did not think the attorney
client relationship has broken
down.
Judge Swain set
the next proceeding for
February 25, also at 3 pm.
The case is US v.
Coste, 20-cr-462 (Swain)
