SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 14 – Ben Wachter
Associates sued former
employee Fernando Valentine
Herradon for $28 million,
citing the Computer Fraud and
Abuse Act.
On August
14 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John G. Koeltl
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
BWA makes
private label apparel for
Dickies, Timberland and LL
Bean, including in the
Dominican Republic, El
Salvador and, they looked
into, Nicaragua. Herradon,
they say, lured them to
Diriamba. Then they say he
started stealing.
Judge Koeltl
referred the case to
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron for possible settlement.
He asked for a status letter
by December 16.
The case is Ben
Wachter Associates, Inc. et al
v. Herradon, 20-cv-4184
(Koeltl)
