SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 15 – In an 18-defendant
drug gang case a 19th
defendant was arrested and
presented on October 15, and
detained on
consent.
U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave
held the presentment. Inner
City Press covered it.
Assigned
defense attorney Gary Becker
had some problem with his
connection, or at least video.
He consented to detention for
his client, Augustus Ingram.
The next date
before the District Judge,
George B. Daniels, is on
November 18. Judge Cave
excluded Speedy Trial Act time
until then.
The case is US v.
Ingram, 20-cr-57 (Daniels /
Cave)
