SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 14 – Amy Miller sued the
law firm Levi & Korsinsky,
LLP and its founding partners
for gender
discrimination.
On December 1, 2021 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Loretta A. Preska held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
Complaint cites sexist
comments by Eduard Korsinsky,
including that Miller "should
use her sex as a basis to
promote herself in the legal
community."
Then
Joseph Levi, when she
complained to him, told Miller
that "he believed she had been
out of the office a lot
recently due to family
issues."
On
December 1, Judge Preska
chided the parties for moving
too slowly on discovery.
Jump cut to July
13, 2022, when Judge Preska
held another conference. She
was told that transcripts of
audio are being prepared and
that stipulations as to their
accuracy will be sought.
The case is Amy
Miller v. Levi &
Korsinsky, LLP et al.,
20-cv-1390 (Preska)
