SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 1 – Amy Miller sued the
law firm Levi & Korsinsky,
LLP and its founding partners
for gender
discrimination.
On December 1, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Loretta A. Preska held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
Complaint cites sexist
comments by Eduard Korsinsky,
including that Miller "should
use her sex as a basis to
promote herself in the legal
community."
Then
Joseph Levi, when she
complained to him, told Miller
that "he believed she had been
out of the office a lot
recently due to family
issues."
On
December 1, Judge Preska
chided the parties for moving
too slowly on discovery.
The case is Amy
Miller v. Levi &
Korsinsky, LLP et al.,
20-cv-1390 (Preska)
