SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 23 – Bank of America and
others are opposing investors
hiring and paying, up to $400
an hour, former Barclays and
BNP trader Jason Katz as a
fact witness.
On November 23
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lorna G. Schofield held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it, live tweeting:
The opponents
says he should get $50 a hour,
to pay for "child care."
In the air:
$400 an hour...
Judge Schofield
has "reserved judgment"
pending getting a letter by
Wednesday about a cap;
question was raised whether it
would cover consulting in UK
case as well. Judge Schofield:
Is that
divisible?
Wednesday is when
defendants must file any
responsive letter to
Plaintiff's request to seal,
and a list of who should have
access to sealed document.
Private or public litigation?
The case is
Allianz Global Investors GmbH
et al v. Bank Of America
Corporation et al.,
18-cv-10364 (Schofield)
